Hello world. I have officially moved out of doug and kathie mays basement, where i had lived for the last 15 months. (which happens to be the longest i have stayed in one place since high school)
Though i love Niverville, i decided to move home to my mothers in Steinbach a little bit early, just so i can settle in my boxes of stuff and things before i take off to the wild wild west. Plus, i missed my Steinbach house, and mom...hopefully we will get used to living together again quickly.
So, for the next 7 weeks, my life will primarily consist of working, still at the daycare, but i will now be carpooling with someone, shuffling and cleaning my room, drinking coffee at Lekoka so i can use the Internet, and hanging out with my few steinbach friends I've collected over the years. Sounds pretty relaxed.
I have recently found out that i fellow Nivervillian will be at turner valley with me in fall, Ms. Steph Armbruster. She has signed on to staff, So that should be an interesting adventure in itself. It will be nice to have someone who knows who I'm talking about when I'm reminiscing about home.
I am hoping to plan a farewell fundraiser in september before I go to alberta, so, look out! I'm hoping it will pull together nicely, but i still have some time. I'll just leave it at that for now.

let's have coffee at lekoka sometime. :) i may not be a steinbach friend, technically, but i practically live here. plus i'm housesitting for my bro and sis in law this week, so i'm in steinbach "full time" :P
Hey Schnicole, hope your packing and planning goes well. Like Julia, I also work in Steinbach, and only a block away from Lekoka (I am addicted) so perhaps I will run into you there on one of our many coffee runs at work.
what's up with lekoka? i've never even heard of it. is that an embarrassing thing to admit?
we'll definitely have to warm each other's hearts this winter with stories of home sweet home:) i'm looking forward to it.
p.s. from now on you can simply refer to me as "the right honourable stephanie armbruster." that'll do just fine.
fantastic, im so glad that EVERYONE *cough at steph* has heard of Lekoka. One of the workers said that "since youre here all the time.." that it was fine if i would come here and use the internet without buying something here and there. Here all the time... i didnt know how to respond to that... do i come more, do i come less? i remember how much i loved my "regulars" at second cup corydon...am i a regular...does somebody love me?
Jordan- I am stll working in niverville til august 21, so i wont be around lekoka during your coffee breaks. But hey, what time do you usually work til? Maybe i can catch you after work sometime.
Julia- I texted you
Right honourable steph Armbruster- I shall shorten your name to right-hon' right-arm steph. Good?
